Graphic Design and Visual Communication

Images, colour, form and fonts are key tools for graphic design. Our focus at Brandperior is to interpret our customers’ needs and match them with the target group’s expectations. The visual communication says a lot about a company’s desired image. Throughout the process, it’s important for customer and designer to listen and trust each other’s expertise.

Trends for 2025

In December 2024 Pantone released the colour for 2025 and it is (drum roll);

Mocha Mousse 17-1230!

It is supposed to give associations to chocolate, coffee and is also referred to as “a warming brown shade that is permeated with richness”. It will be fun to see variations on that theme.

Adobe has also released its insight into trends for 2025 in terms of the creative. We usually must wait a bit into the year before they come up with more “hands-on” trends in terms of fonts and graphic elements, but the overall trends according to them look like:

  • The creation of dreamlike and striking visuals, mostly with the help of AI technology. Mixing futuristic virtual elements with physical elements.
  • Content with humour. It has proved successful in channels like TikTok and it’s spilling over into traditional marketing.
  • Retrofuturism, a trend also known as The Time Warp combines classical architecture in futuristic settings. This trend has also influenced fashion, films and advertising. Naturally, generative AI is a crucial tool in this creation process.
  • Finally, our lifestyle is also reflected in what we create. Since the pandemic, we have shifted from pursuing material possessions to seeking meaningful experiences. This is reflected in the creation of broader concepts around, for example, a brand, where you want to connect with customers beyond mere product interaction. They want to create an “entire universe” around a product.
